FLT Counterbalance Driver (Timber Manufacturing)
Location: Hull, HU9
Shift: Friday – Sunday (36 Hours per week)
Hours: 06:00 – 18:00 (12-hour shifts)
Pay: Competitive (Dependent on skill set/experience) £13.00 - £14.00
Lead Talent Solutions is proud to be working in partnership with a leading local timber manufacturing business in the HU9 area. We are currently seeking a precision-focused FLT Counterbalance Driver to join their specialised production team.
The Role
This isn't your standard warehouse role. You will be responsible for maneuvering high-value, unstable timber batches and assisting with the timber treatment tank process. Key responsibilities include:

Expert Operation: Safe handling of unstable timber loads using a Counterbalance truck.

Precision Treatment: Working directly with the timber treatment tank.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate records (requires strong reading and writing skills).

Safety First: Working strictly within COSHH guidelines and health & safety protocols.
What We’re Looking For

A valid, accredited FLT Counterbalance License.

High attention to detail—accuracy in record-keeping is vital.

Physical confidence and the ability to handle awkward/unstable loads.

COSHH knowledge or previous experience with chemicals (highly advantageous).

Reliability to commit to a 3-day weekend shift pattern.
